Bucephalandra ‘Brownie Ghost’ is a compact rhizome plant from the Brownie group of Bucephalandra, a genus that grows on rocks in the streams of Borneo. Its small, dark brown-green leaves carry a faint blue-white sheen. It usually stays under 10 cm tall, grows slowly and is tied to wood or rock rather than planted in soil, much like Anubias.

Like every Bucephalandra, Brownie Ghost grows new leaves from the tip of its rhizome and occasionally sends out a side shoot.
