Description
Rotala Wallichii is considered one of the most beautiful red stem plants available, with delicate, needle-fine leaves that flush deep pink to red under strong light and lean nutrient dosing. It’s more demanding than basic Rotala Rotundifolia — it wants high light and consistent CO2 or liquid carbon to really colour up — which makes it a favourite centerpiece stem for competition-style aquascapes. Plant in bunches; trim and replant tops regularly to maintain dense, colourful growth.
For full planting, CO2 and colour-up tips, see our Rotala Wallichii care guide.
