Description

Micranthemum ‘Monte Carlo’ is the most popular true carpeting plant in modern aquascaping — small round leaves on creeping stems that form a dense green lawn across your substrate. Unlike Dwarf Baby Tears, Monte Carlo tolerates a wider range of light and doesn’t need pressurized CO2 to thrive, though it will carpet faster and denser with both. Plant small portions 2-3cm apart directly into substrate; it spreads via runners and fills in within 4-6 weeks under moderate-to-high light. A favourite for iwagumi and nature-style layouts.
