Description

Cryptocoryne wendtii ‘Green’ is one of the easiest and most rewarding rooted aquarium plants – a hardy Southeast Asian crypt that forms lush rosettes of wavy green leaves. It is ideal for the midground, tolerates a wide range of water conditions, and is perfect for beginners building their first planted tank.

Unlike Anubias, this is a root-feeder: plant the crown in your substrate (root tabs help) and let it establish. Don’t be alarmed if it sheds a few leaves after planting – this is normal ‘crypt melt’ as it adapts, and fresh growth follows within a few weeks.
